How do you create a spacious yoga studio within an existing building without losing any of its potential?

The former industrial building on the banks of the Vltava River offered beautiful views of the water and large windows, but also a number of spatial and technical limitations. And the brief was ambitious. Two large exercise studios, private classes, massages, changing rooms, a café and a space for the community to come together. Our task was to find a solution that would make this complex operation work without letting any of its challenges disturb the feeling of calm and lightness.

We dedicated the upper floor mainly to movement and relaxation. The yoga studio opens up towards the Vltava River, while the Barre studio turns the focus in the opposite direction – towards your own reflection in the mirror. Flowing lines, natural tones and carefully considered details connect the entire interior. Even the extensive technical systems required for the studio were integrated to remain almost invisible, without taking away from the open and airy feeling of the space.

But beyou was never just about interior design. We also explored the character of the new brand, its visual identity and how it would connect with its visitors. The result is a place where everything naturally comes together. And where the apparent simplicity is backed by a great deal of thought and coordination.
